Your Right to Cancel Your Order
If you are a UK consumer (i.e. you are not purchasing either wholly or in part for your business, or you are not a business) you have the right under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations to cancel the contract and receive a full refund in respect of all goods purchased except customised goods. You have fourteen (14) calendar days starting on the day after you receive the goods, to cancel your contract in writing to us at Ovation Interior Flooring Design ltd in accordance with the Returns Procedure. We do not accept the return of part orders or the return of orders from businesses or overseas customers.
All the goods from your order must be returned and in their original condition. Any return is at your own cost and risk. If any returned item shows signs of use or unreasonable handling or is otherwise not in its original condition, we cannot re-sell the item for the same price. In those circumstances, we treat the goods as second hand and we are entitled to deduct the reduction in value of the goods from the refund otherwise due to you. We understand that it may be necessary to open a pack to check suitability, but opening additional packs of the same item will be deemed as unreasonable handling.

Once your return has been approved we will send you a Returns Authorisation Number and details of an address to which the items should be returned within 14 days labelled with your name, address, order number and Returns Authorisation Number.
Any return made by you is at your own cost and risk. The goods must be re-packed securely. We suggest using an insured courier service where a signature is required by the receiving party as we are not responsible for items lost in transit or damaged on their way back to us. You have a legal obligation to keep the goods in your possession and take reasonable care of them. If you do not do this then this may affect the value of any refund that you may receive from us. Once the goods have been returned and checked, any refund due will be credited to the original method of payment within fourteen (14) days of receipt of the returned goods.
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If you are unfortunate enough to receive a damaged item or an item is missing, make sure it is noted on the carrier’s paperwork. No claims for damaged or missing items can be made after the carrier has left the delivery address, unless signed for as damaged or missing. In the event that the goods you order from Ovation flooring are damaged you shall have three days from receipt of the goods in which to notify us.

Check that all flooring products are flawless before laying them. Ovation flooring will not accept any claims for damaged, faulty or mis-described items once the flooring has been installed. Where the buyer or their agent has used or installed the goods such use or installation shall be taken as conclusive evidence that the buyer has accepted that the goods are in perfect condition.
You must accept full responsibility for the suitability of the goods ordered for the purpose to which they are put.
